Glad to see that I’m not the only one that visits the portland pattern repository (c2.com).
I have to say that my interest in Linq has little to do with DLinq. I will say that all of the Linq code I have seen to date has been free of any threading considerations, but then I havent been looking very hard.

I’ve just read the article on January preview of DLinq in Visual Studio Magazine, and wasn’t happy with no mention of scalability issues. The DLinq Overview linked off of The LINQ Project page doesn’t speak of threading or caching either.
I frequently refer to this laundry list on “the Wiki” to assess ORM tools, and according to it DLinq seems to be doing OK feature-wise.

You could always post a query on the Linq forums and see what they have to say: http://forums.microsoft.com/msdn/showforum.aspx?forumid=123&siteid=1
