Faster .NET exceptions
If you are heavily using exceptions for flow-control in your apps, and are hitting a performance wall, consider using exceptions not derived from System.Exception as these wont generate a stack trace and are therefore faster. If you’re heavily using exceptions for flow-control in your apps, then you probably deserve what you get. :-}
